Building Strong Communities: Celebrating Santa Maria College's Parent Engagement and Community Spirit"

On Friday, we celebrated Mother's Day with a delightful afternoon tea at the College - a wonderful opportunity for our students to honour their mothers, carers, grandmothers, aunts, and all influential women in their lives. We  enjoyed delicious catering, and gained inspiration from the amazing guest speaker, Senator Jess Walsh.

Huge thanks to SantaLink, the Parents and Friends Association, for their generous hosting and amazing execution! SantaLink put this free, community event on for our College each year. What sets SantaLink apart is their focus on building connections and fostering engagement with parents and guardians, rather than the traditional focus of P&F groups such as fundraising and events.

Their initiatives are all about bringing our school community together, creating memorable experiences, and supporting one another in various ways.One of the special aspects of Santa Maria College is our incredibly strong community spirit, made possible by the active involvement of our parents and guardians.

It's this collaboration and partnership that truly enriches the educational journey for our students and enhances the overall experience of being part of the Santa Maria family.
