Santa Maria College enjoys a brilliant location in the heart of Northcote. Our buildings capture the heritage and history as we celebrate over 110 years of educating young women in the northern region of Melbourne. Established with a commitment to the education of girls, the Good Samaritan Sisters worked tirelessly to build a learning environment offering rigour and opportunity for growth, imbued within a rich faith community. This legacy continues to flourish and opportunities abound for students at Santa Maria College.

The Benedictine Centre, located at the Separation Street entrance, is home to the Visual and Performing Arts and Design precinct. Its modern architectural design with striking curved panels mirrors the contemporary educational philosophy of the College. The innovative, open, creative learning spaces inspire students from Years 7-12 to imagine, create and innovate.

Our Mission Statement calls us to be educationally innovative. As such, we are always looking to create new opportunities, resources and ideas to excite students and teachers alike.

Take a tour to see our College immersed in contemporary learning, incorporating the latest technologies, and be inspired by the vibrancy of our specialist areas.
