On the Orientation Day students will be able to meet our College Principal, Mrs Deborah Barker, our Deputy Principals, Village Leaders and the Year 7 teachers. There will be taster lessons throughout the day. The Orientation Day is an opportunity for students to make new friends and meet our staff and become familiar with the College grounds.

The Orientation Day enables Grade 6 students to experience a normal school day, following a Year 7 timetable.

At Orientation Day, students will receive a Year 7 Transition Passport. This passport is designed for students to introduce themselves to the year 7 teaching team so that they can find out more about each student and how best to support them during their transition from Primary to Secondary school. The students are required to work their way through the activities contained in this passport, then submit the booklet to their teacher for collection. We hope students enjoy completing the activities and putting together a profile of themselves as the teachers will enjoy reading it and getting to know each student better.
